Music plays an important part in a child's education at Kingswood. Children have weekly lessons and a specialist teacher is employed to teach the children. 

The lessons include singing, listening to a wide range of music, composing music with tuned and untuned percussion instruments and learning to play an instrument such as the recorder or ukulele.

The school promotes the opportunity for children to receive lessons from a Surrey Arts music teacher.

The school also has a choir and sings at local events which include the annual Greensand Academy choir event and Surrey Arts choir event at Dorking Halls. Each term the instrumentalists and choir also perform to the whole school and parents to highlight their musical achievements.
